After sharing our story in our previous post, of how Inond began and what drives our mission, it feels only right to introduce the person who started it all. Because behind every idea, every product, every milestone we’ve reached so far, there’s someone who believed in a bigger purpose long before Inond existed.

So, we’re (re)introducing our Founder and your Product Realisation & Innovation Partner - Benn Klewpatinond BSc(Hons) MA MIED.

The Spark Behind Inond

If you’ve ever spoken with Benn, you’ll know how quickly his passion for ideas fills a room. He has an extraordinary ability to spot potential in concepts that others might overlook and an instinct for transforming them into viable, meaningful, commercially strong products. With nearly 20 years of experience in design, engineering and innovation, Benn founded Inond with one clear purpose:

To help people get their ideas from their head to their hand.

That vision shaped the entire foundation of Inond: a place where ideas could be nurtured, challenged, refined, engineered, and launched into the world with confidence. A place where innovation becomes accessible.

A Career Built on Creativity + Impact

Before creating Inond, Benn spent years designing and engineering products across a wide spectrum of industries from; sports, fitness and wellness, to environmental solutions, construction, and even wildlife projects. This breadth shaped his human-centred approach: understanding not just how to design a product, but how to make it work for people, communities and the planet.

One of Benn’s standout achievements is FloatRower, an inclusive rowing machine created

to redefine accessibility and elevate the fitness experience for every user. It’s a perfect expression of Benn’s philosophy: innovation should serve people, not exclude them.

Benn carried FloatRower from a simple idea all the way through to real-world trials in major gyms, including David Lloyd and demos with PureGym. Experiencing the full journey, from concept, to engineering, to manufacturing, to market testing, highlighted something important: companies need someone who can oversee and connect every stage of a project.

And that insight became the foundation of what Benn has built here at Inond, a place where the entire journey is supported, guided, and made possible.
